How a Channel Opens
First, everyone is a channel. If you weren’t, you wouldn’t be alive—you are channeling your life in every moment. When people speak of “channeling” in the professional sense, they usually mean the ability to meet the guides at a frequency where direct connection can occur.
In this newsletter, we’ve called this the channeling state. Because professional psychics and channels work in timed sessions, most of us have cleared enough soul lessons to reach that state quickly—often within a few minutes, and for some, within seconds.
A little-known fact is that psychics are not always in the channeling state, at least in my experience. It just appears that way because we can access it so quickly. You rarely see the “pause” where we internally build the channel.
What a Channel Is Made Of
A channel is composed of three energies: the energy of the channel, the energy of the questioner, and the energy of the guides.
What you’re truly paying a psychic for is the building of that channel. In essence, we are lending you the speed, stability, and scope of our connection. Every channel behaves differently depending on its energetic makeup and what it’s accessing within the greater matrix of creation.
For example, my own soul’s purpose in this lifetime is to help others awaken to their multidimensional abilities and use them practically to master their human experience. So, when someone comes to me seeking guidance about awakening or deepening their connection to higher dimensions, the information flows clearly and deeply. That’s an area where my channel is well-built—one I’ve developed over many lifetimes.
However, if a questioner comes to me and wants to know about intimacy in their relationships, this is an area where I know my soul isn’t completely comfortable, nor do I feel there is any true mastery. Now, understand something—I, or my soul, am not the one answering your question; the guides are. But what we’re talking about here is the relative quality of the channel that is built, which depends on the soul experience of the channeler. If the questioner’s inquiry is based on relatively common knowledge, then helpful information can come through. However, if the question is quite nuanced, the channel may begin to “shake” and grasp for the best alternative available within its access to that area of life. Understand that the guides are mandated to help us, so if you ask, they will always answer as best they can, given what is in front of them, without breaking any universal laws (such as interfering with your learning). So, while something will always come through if asked, ultimately, you might be better served by choosing a psychic with greater soul mastery in the area of intimate relationships.
This is why the guides always recommend choosing psychics based on resonance, not intellect. Resonance is how your soul recognizes alignment. When I first began this work, I didn’t consciously know that my channel specialized in multidimensional awakening—I discovered it over time, through repeated experiences and noticing what frequencies felt strongest and most alive while I was doing readings.
The Questioner’s Role
Strong channels are co-created. The clarity of the information depends on both the strength of the psychic’s channel in that area and the clarity of the questioner’s intent.
When someone comes in with a clear desire—to release a pattern, heal an aspect of their life, or create something new—the guides can meet that energy directly, resulting in powerful and precise transmissions.
If the intent is vague—for instance, feeling generally unhappy or bored without much self-awareness—the guides will begin by helping that person become aware. That’s when the channel can feel “shaky,” not because the connection is weak, but because the focus is still forming.
The Co-Creation of Channeling
Ultimately, channels are not created in isolation. Every part of the process—guide, psychic, and questioner—contributes to the energy and clarity of what comes through.
This is also why group channeling experiences often produce such rich, expansive messages. When a group of lightworkers gathers, the combined light creates a powerful and stable channel. The collective resonance amplifies the clarity, depth, and scope of the information that emerges.
A Message from the Guides
Xavier, my galactic spirit guides, has a message for us about channeling. Consistent with the convention of our blog, in italics is the directly channeled message as I hear it in my head, verbatim.
Xavier: We want to build further on what has been extrapolated by the channel, and we thank her for taking the time to share her experience.
What is little known in channeling is that when you “channel” as you humans call it, what is really happening is you are building a bridge to certain matrixes of creation. So, the channel, as in the person doing the channeling, has certain masteries over certain matrixes and has semi-masteries over certain other matrixes. Ultimately, each soul has an intuitive knowing as to these matters but often not an intellectual knowing without much experience in the field, just as the channel explained.
What we are getting at, ultimately, is that channeling is not about information, thought that is what most people associate it with. They want to know information they haven’t thought of yet, even though, in our humble opinion, this is the least important aspect of a channel. Why? Before it is information, it is energy. And it is the energy exchange that is most useful for moving your incarnation in the direction of your dreams.
So, we speak of these matrixes of creation. Why is it important? It is important because when a channel is created, what is significant is the human channel is sharing access to their mastery to the questioner and in turn, the questioner, is sharing their own access to their own mastery with the channel. So, the exchange that is happening is multifaceted. The questioner is being healed by the channel, while the questioner is sharing their own access to their own mastery with the channel so as to further that channel’s healing as well. There is an exchange of sorts that we facilitate as guides. Do you understand this?
Now, we want to speak of resonance because resonance is very important. We want to say something significant at this moment. The channel often says one day she woke up as a direct voice channel. That is the perspective of the human that is the channel. What is more accurate is that she came in to this world with open upper chakras, those beyond the crown, but in fact had a very blocked heart space. When she healed her heart space, then she experienced what she now calls a years long dark night of the soul that facilitated her rapid awakening. Her experience was so because of the unique circumstances of her birth and blueprint. We say this because we want to emphasize that you often don’t know what you don’t know when it comes spirituality just as the channel had no consciousness she would one day become a direct voice channel, even though she was told decades ago that she is very capable. We are belaboring this story precisely because some of you reading this are in a similar situation. Yes, you, who is thinking right now that you are not a channel, you are as capable as the channel transcribing this message. Be open to your biggest possibility because sometimes you don’t know what you are capable of until it comes. And, so it is
