At this point in my development, I’ve done hundreds of psychic readings. When you do enough readings, you start to notice patterns — when people get meaningful results, and when they feel the guides are simply telling them “something they already know.”
Working with spirit guides is a bit of an art, so I asked the guides to do a question-and-answer session to help people who are seeking psychic readings get what they truly came for: to heal what they want to heal and manifest the life they genuinely want — not the life they’re begrudgingly settling for.
The guides have told me they are going to facilitate this post. Metatron will lead the conversation, while several of the guides noted below will provide answers. Consistent with the convention of this blog, the italicized text is directly channeled material, presented verbatim as I hear it in my head.
Metatron: How can a questioner get the answers they came for in a psychic reading?
Seraphim: Good, this is the question we want to answer. The easy and quick answer is: be direct. The more complete, but longer answer is stop trying to solve the problem and believe you are directing us as guides. Tell us what you want, plain, simple, and directly in just so many words. You get bogged down when you try to solve the problem because then you pre-empt our ability to assist you.
Let us give you an example. Let us say that you want to be in an unconditionally loving relationship with someone who you are physically and emotionally attracted to. Good, that is an excellent intention. Rather than ask, “How can I be in an unconditionally loving relationship with someone I am physically and emotionally attracted to?”, you guys often ask, how can I get my boyfriends or girlfriends to stop cheating on me, or you ask how can I stop attracting men or women who only like me for my income potential. We could go on and on as to the questions that skirt what you truly want. If you are in an unconditionally loving relationship with someone you find physically and emotionally attractive, does that mean they are not cheating on you? Very much so. Does it also mean that they are not simply with you because perhaps your income earnings are high? Absolutely. Do you see now our point? When you start to solve problems rather than just set a clear, plain, but direct intention you begin to solve ancillary problems rather than zoom in to the root cause. So, does this mean you don’t have to handle these ancillary or what we sometimes call residual energies? No, not necessarily. But if you are more clear in what you want, it invariably takes care of it on your way to manifestation.
So, the name of the game is to sit with yourself for a brief moment in time and ask yourself this question, if there were no limitations, what would you want? To be loved unconditionally? To have a job that you are passionate about and makes a boat load of money? To have the freedom of a clear and healthy body? Think about it, state it plainly and directly, and then ask us how you can accomplish that. When you do this, you will make a quantum leap as to your desires.
We will caveat this guidance with this advice: Start with one intention at a time. Does the universe begrudge you having an unconditionally loving relationship as well as a great job that makes an impact? It does not. But the way energy works on the Earth plane, it’s best to work on one thing at one time. Once you’ve had that one thing, then it is to move on to the next thing. So, prioritize. If there were no limitations, what would you like to accomplish first? Start there and let us show you how. And, so it is.
Metatron: How long does it take to live in one’s biggest possibility?
Xavier: Not long if you do the healing. Understand that the universe always puts you in the highest timeline it can put you in given your agreements to heal pre-incarnation. So, once those healings are done, the universe is free and clear to give you what you want.
Is the universe somehow withholding manifestation to make you heal? Absolutely not. Rather, you told Source or the Universe, whatever it is you want to call it, to ASSIST you in not giving up on clearing these energies. So, it’s not transactional, rather the universe is simply doing what you asked it to do pre-incarnation.
Our honest answer to this question is it depends on what you agreed to pre-incarnation. The possibilities are endless, truly. For some, it will be instantaneous to the healing necessary for the road or channel to open up to that manifestation. For others, like the channel, it is a long winding road, because her healing was her training, her initiation into this new life she is embarking on. For yet others, it will be anywhere from several months to about 3-4 years, depending on what it is you are asking for and how much work you have set up for yourself before it is gifted to you by you. And, so it is.
Metatron: Is it a good idea to ask outcome questions like when will I get married or will I get in to that grad school or similar questions like this?
Xavier: We welcome all questions and answer them as best we can. Sometimes, you are not in agreement to knowing so we cannot tell you outright. Other times, at higher levels your high self has asked us not to steal your thunder and ruin a good surprise, so in those circumstances we really cannot say either way.
We will say this: when a situation in your life causes high levels of anxiety, we can often tell you it will be okay and not to worry. However, absent those circumstances, we recommend that you relish in the good surprises of an incarnation and enjoy the way in which your high self has decided to delight you. Living on Earth is a wonderful opportunity to learn to trust self and to honor that one has done their best so that any outcome will be honored by the personality.
Do we want to tell you when he will propose? Or if a baby is indeed on the way? Or if you will finally get that dream job? Absolutely, but we also recognize that if we steal your thunder under these circumstances that we just stole the full effect of the good surprise it would have brought.
Do we want to tell you that the disease you are dealing with may get worse? Or that a family member in the hospital is contemplating crossing the rainbow bridge? Or that you may be laid off from that job that you were only lukewarm about? Honestly, we don’t. Not because we think it is bad news or that we do not want to be a bearer to it, but instead to do so is to absolutely steal your learning, your ability and freedom to overcome this soul lesson right now at this moment. We always give you the benefit of the doubt, and we are ALWAYS helping you overcome whatever challenges you perceive you have. We are helping you in more ways than you are currently aware of. So, we offer our support, and we will also offer our guidance as to how you can overcome such challenges, but, invariably, we are not likely to tell you these types of outcomes will be happening in your life because to do so is to take away your freedom of clearing the soul lesson it brings.
Are outcome questions good? We would say they are not bad, but it is to take Seraphim’s advice above and tell us clearly, plainly, and directly, in so many words, what you truly want to have in your life, if you did not think about your perceived limitations on this plane. And, so it is.
