Xavier, my galactic spirit guides, asked me to dictate a message about why it is so difficult to stay in the present moment. Consistent with the convention of our blog, in italics is the directly channeled message as I hear it in my head verbatim.
Xavier: The present moment is difficult for the wounded for in the present moment one feels their soul note keenly. Your soul note is the totality of all that you are within time and space. As we have said before and as other guides have taught you before, you are part light and part shadow. When one has difficulty in being in the present moment, they have not yet figured out how to navigate their soulscape to come into the light. Understand that we do not expect you to be only light, that happens when you die. When you are alive, part of the game of earth is to understand how to turn shadow into light.
So, what does this have to do with manifesting? Manifestation happens in the present moment. Ironically, when one thinks of manifesting something, the first inclination is to plan, which is to begin to live one’s life in the future. It is a bit of an art to understand how to set intentions, then to keep those intentions in the PRESENT.
At this point, many of you are frustrated by this discourse. How am suppose to get that new car if I don’t plan how to make the money to get that new car? How am suppose to change careers if I don’t have a plan to retrain myself for a new career? How am I suppose to be in a loving and thoughtful relationship if I don’t have plans to put myself out there? We are NOT suggesting effort is unnecessary, but the more nuanced point we are making is that humans have a tendency to preempt guidance.
When you have an intention, it’s important to sit with that intention and understand the space of that intention. In an ideal world, humans would be keen on “cleaning up” their intention through shadow work before they act upon that intention. Then, it’s important to sit on the intention and LISTEN for the first aligned step and only the first aligned step.
The problem humans encounter is that they expect manifestation to be like taking a college course. You set out what you want, and the universe gladly gives you a syllabus. If you do everything on that syllabus, then the manifestation is yours. The universe does not work that way because the universe is not linear, it’s a matrix. It’s important to LISTEN to the whispers of your soul precisely because you are crafting the energies of your manifestation and to listen to preferred detours is to delight your soul with possibilities you could not have imagined, but is completely in line with your intention.
When humans feel silence those first few days of sitting with an intention, you often think your guides have abandoned you. We have not, we are simply waiting for the energy settle and preparing to delight you with a possibility you could not have imagined that is in line with your intention. When you preempt guidance, you ruin that surprise and that’s why it’s important to take the first aligned step and only the first aligned step. And, so it is.
