Sing Your Soul Note

a

From a very young age, most of us are taught to order the world.

We learn that some things are better than others. Some schools are better. Some jobs are better. Some neighborhoods are better. Some bodies are better. Some lives are better. Before we are old enough to question it, we begin absorbing the idea that the world is organized through hierarchy, comparison, and external measures of worth.

At first, this can seem harmless. It may simply look like ambition, preference, discipline, or wanting a good life. But over time, that unconscious ordering becomes something deeper. We begin measuring ourselves through the zip code we live in, the college we attended, the major we chose, the brands we worked for, how successful we appear to be, how thin we are, how much we have achieved, and how our lives compare to the lives around us.

Without realizing it, we begin giving our energy away to these measurements.

We anchor our worth to things outside of us. We look to external markers to tell us who we are, whether we are safe, whether we are successful, whether we are lovable, and whether we are on the right path. And when we live that way long enough, it becomes very easy to lose touch with our own center.

This is often when we find ourselves asking deeper questions.

Who am I, really?
What do I actually want?
What brings me true joy?
What is my purpose?
Why does the life I worked so hard to build still feel misaligned?

If you recognize yourself in this, there is nothing wrong with you. You inherited a way of seeing the world that many of us were taught to accept as normal.

And now many of us are being asked to heal it.

We are being asked to stop outsourcing our worth. We are being asked to notice where comparison has been running our lives. We are being asked to move our attention away from the external markers we were taught to chase and back toward the inner truth we may have learned to ignore.

This is not always easy work. It can be humbling to realize how much of our energy has been tied to comparison, achievement, approval, or the need to be seen a certain way. But it is also liberating.

Because when we begin to release the need to measure our worth through the outside world, we begin to return to ourselves.

We begin to recognize true joy instead of external validation. We begin to feel the difference between what looks good and what is actually aligned. We begin to understand that our soul-centered purpose cannot be found through comparison, because it was never meant to be measured against anyone else’s life.

This is the freedom Archangel Michaelwanted to speak about today: the freedom that comes when we stop measuring ourselves by the world’s standards and begin remembering who we are from the inside out. This has been the healing I have been undertaking over the last few years.

Let’s see what Archangel Michael has to teach us.

Consistent with the convention of the blog, in italics is the directly channeled message as I hear it in my head, verbatim.

Archangel Michael: We begin this message with one for the channel because in her asthma attack it is the only way she can receive it.  She is on the cusp of a breakthrough as she has told the story in her introduction.  You, too, will breakthrough, when you learn to move your attention out of the external and into what internally brings you joy.  That's what we want to teach you all today.

So, the fuss about the zip codes: Why do you all fuss about 5 digits?  Well, it's not that you are fussing about 5 digits, it is so much more that when the self isn't honored AS IS, it begins to find other ways to honor oneself and sometimes that alternative means finds itself through a five digit sequence called a zip code.

We will tell you this: the soul-centered you doesn't care about zip codes.  You only care about zip codes when you can't anchor yourself to some worthiness. The problem on your plane is that you are not taught how to be worthy AS IS.  You are not taught how to be worthy AS YOU ARE.  You are not taught how to be worthy when there is exactly $1 in your bank account.  BUT you are worthy no matter what that number is, you are worthy no matter what zip code you live in, and most importantly, you are worthy simply because you exist.

So, how do you breakthrough?  Well, you will breakthrough when you learn, on the soul level, what we just said.  That is, when you are worthy simply because you exist and not because you are ___________________, then that is the recipe for a breakthrough.

You do this by honoring yourself at rock bottom, which is what the channel did to be able to breakthrough to claim her true freedom.  Do you have to reach rock bottom to learn this?  No, but seldom do you all volunteer to understand how to be worthy as you are.  You are more likely to busy yourself with those external things that will make you feel worthy. When was the last time you took time to be with self and then honored yourself for doing so?  That is the recipe to this brand of self-love we are speaking of.

It is hard work to begin to understand and begin to embody that you are worthy because you exist.  No Ifs, No Unlesses, and definitely No Shoulds.  This shift is what many of you are going to undertake in the next few years and in this undertaking, you will claim your true freedom. And, so it is.
