In their last message, the guides taught us that making repeated inauthentic decisions is the cause of burnout. I wanted to follow-up on that and get their perspective on what reverses burnout.
Who will assist us today? Xavier, my galactic angels, and Kahuna Nui Sebastian, an Ascended Master who specializes in energetics behind the healing journey, will be our teachers for this topic. Beneath the question in italics is exactly what I hear from the guides, verbatim.
Is making repeated inauthentic decisions the root cause of burnout? Is there anything else that cause burnout?
Xavier: Yes, making repeated inauthentic decisions is the root cause of burnout. We wish to further explain this process from a different perspective. You have to imagine your energetic body like it is a glass cup. If the cup is filled with pure transparent water, then whatever you see through this glass cup will be magnified. If the cup is filled with muddy water, then whatever you see through this glass cup will be hazy. If the cup is filled with water that is nearly black, then you cannot see anything through the glass cup. You can only engage with the blackness of the cup because you are essentially cut off from whatever is on the other side of the cup. In this metaphor, the water is your energetic body under different levels of authenticity. When you are fully in your soul centered self, everything seems bigger, brighter, and more joyful. When you are swayed by a significant level of inauthenticity, you can still see your way but essentially you have to work so much harder to get to clarity. When you are burned out, which is what the cup with black water represents, then you cannot even see anything beyond the blackness. There is a feeling of being cut off from the world and a feeling of being lost because you cannot see anything past the cup.
Burnout usually happens slowly over time. Most people earnestly intend to live full, authentic lives. Then, they go through a dilemma and for whatever reason, they decide to sell out their authenticity a bit. So, the water gets a little muddy. Then, there’s inevitably another dilemma and they sell out their authenticity a bit more and the water gets even more muddy. Soon, they become numb to their decisions of inauthenticity and making inauthentic decisions becomes a pattern, it becomes second nature to them such that it permeates throughout their identity. As they progress through and keep making inauthentic decisions, they have less and less clarity and visibility on the objectives of their soul centered selves and they begin to make decisions purely with the intellect. When this happens, the person may be functioning, but inside they literally feel like someone took their light. They feel this way because their energetic body is so marred by dark shadows that they have difficulty navigating their way through their own life. When the intellect fully takes over, there is a constant feeling of discordance within the person because whenever humans are not in their soul centered self, the body will react to let you know of the imbalance. If the person numbs this discordant feeling, over time they normalize it, and stop being able to be aware of their inauthenticity. This is the point when the person usually begins to realize they are experiencing burnout.
It’s easy to sellout our authenticity a bit, especially when going through a dilemma. As humans, we often have to do things we don’t like and write it off as it is what it is. Should we not do this? If we shouldn’t do this, then how do we navigate those complex situations where there is no easy way to be fully our authentic selves?
Xavier: This is a good point. What we will tell you is that there is always a way to be fully authentic. The universe wouldn’t have given you a situation where it was impossible to be fully authentic. The way to discern how to transform a complex situation where there seems to be no choice but to sell out your authenticity into a situation where it is easy to be fully authentic is to integrate those fragmented aspects of self that only see being inauthentic as the solution. One way to do this is to get into the channeling state in meditation. While in the channeling state, ask, who does not believe we can be fully authentic in this situation? When they speak up, discourse with them, and find out what their blockage is. Once you are aware of their blockage, that is, once you identify the belief that hinders them from seeing the solution where you can be fully authentic, you will cease to see the situation as an impossibility to be authentic. Different people will have different beliefs that cause the blockages so it’s important to discern for yourself what is your specific blockage rather than assuming that what blocks another person must also block you.
We will also caveat our response by telling readers of this article that your planet is going through a massive energetic upgrade. In the past, corporate culture has been filled with situations you delineated in your question. The universe is calling for an upgrade. So, what could have been written off before as it is what it is will not be tolerated in the future because it is no longer appropriate at the raised vibration that humans are entering into. It is not to be afraid of the change, but to embrace your newfound freedom to be who you truly are within your soul centered self.
Is the only way to prevent burnout to make fully authentic decisions?
Sebastian: Surprisingly, no. The universe never punishes you as long as you rectify your inauthentic decisions. Let us say you are in a corporate meeting, and you are put in the spot by your manager. You blurt out an answer that isn’t your full authentic self. In this case, what needs to be done is that you need to be aware that you made an inauthentic decision at that moment. In this awareness, you can go into the channeling state in meditation and ask how you can rectify the situation. Understand that what we are teaching you here is how to transmute energy. If there was a level of inauthenticity in your decision at that moment, the universe always provides a way to transmute the shadow. Once you get what this is during your meditation, take the action or make the decision necessary to transmute your past inauthentic decision and you will successfully feel clear again. So, what is important is not to aspire to perfection that in itself is unrealistic but to keep your awareness open so that you can transmute any shadow that may have been created as a result of an inauthentic decision.
If a person is burned out, what can they do to reverse it?
Sebastian: Before we answer the question, we want to explain how burnout feels like. When one is burned out, they usually feel lost, unmotivated, uninspired, and most of all, there is a low level of discordance in their energy that they are keenly aware of. They feel this way because their energetic body is out of light. They cannot light their own way, and this is why they are uninspired and unmotivated. They can’t see past the blackness so it’s hard for them to get excited or motivated about anything, precisely because all they see is black. By this, what we mean is that all they can see is what is represented by the blackness, which is their past actions of inauthenticity. More troubling is, if they have normalized their inauthenticity, they may also feel trapped in their blackness. That is, they are potentially numbed to the discordance they have created.
So, how do you get out of such a dire state? The first thing that must be done is that you must set the intention to begin making fully authentic decisions. Setting this intention will stop the train wreck that is happening, and it will assist in preventing you from dulling your light any more than you already have. The next thing that you must do, is you must begin to atone for your past inauthentic decisions. Understand that the universe measures everything by energy. So, it is energy for energy. Whatever amount of energy was generated as a result of your inauthentic decisions is the amount of energy that needs to be transmuted. Just as we guided above, get deep into meditation and into the channeling state and ask your high self or your guides what you need to do first to begin the transmutation process. You will get an answer. If not directly during your meditation, your guides or your high self will begin to give you hints in your daily life on what needs to be done. Do them. As you do what is necessary to transmute all the discordant energy of the inauthentic decisions you have made, you will begin to feel clearer and clearer. It may be that you need to brace yourself for the long haul, but as long as you keep transmuting the blackness, at some point you will feel clear again. Your motivation and inspiration will return. Most of all, you will be able to see the horizon again because you are not marred by the blackness of your inauthentic decisions. So, if you have reached burnout, it means there is a lot of energy to transmute. Persevere. Persevere. Persevere. Your perseverance will pave the way for your rebirth.
There has been a lot of information shared here. I think this is a good place to close this post. Any last messages?
Sebastian: Many believe that the root cause of burnout is overwork. It can be a contributing factor, yes, but not the root cause. In many cases, people begin to taper off their work schedules and stop overworking, which is good, but their feelings of burnout do not go away. This is because they have misidentified the root cause. They have to address the inauthentic decisions they have made in the past and go through the process of transmuting all the energy that has been generated as a result of their inauthenticity. Once you transmute the blackness created by your inauthentic decisions, you will feel brand new. Literally, you will feel like you were reborn. Do not dwell too much on reaching burnout because once you transmute it, you will feel more powerful, more capable, and even brighter than you have ever been before. Do not feel bad that it happened, instead, see it as an opportunity to make a quantum leap.
Thank you for your time and energy!
