From Burnout to Awakening: My Story
I was the person who always did what I was “supposed” to do. I worked hard. I chased every milestone. I earned a Bachelor’s in Economics and Accounting from University of California, Santa Barbara and a Master’s in Economics from San Jose State University. I landed prestigious jobs—as an economics professor, an accounting manager, and a transfer pricing consultant. I ticked every box that was supposed to lead to success. And yet… the quiet ache of misalignment never went away. No matter how much I achieved, I couldn’t outrun the sense that something was missing—that I was living someone else’s life.
Like many high performers, I didn’t understand why life often felt harder for me than it seemed to for others. I was hyperaware, deeply sensitive, and my mind worked differently. I later learned I was neurodivergent—living with ADHD and dyslexia—but I didn’t know that growing up. I thought my setbacks were personal failures. I flunked out of college twice, battled burnout, shame, and deep avoidance, and still believed the solution was to push harder. I ignored every spiritual nudge along the way, including a visit from my grandfather the day after he passed and even a profound appearance from Jesus after one of my lowest moments. I dismissed it all and kept chasing the next achievement.
But conventional success never filled the void. My awakening arrived whether I was ready or not. What started as hearing the voices of my guides, Xavier and Seraphim, unfolded into a four-year-long Dark Night of the Soul. I was forced to confront the trauma, soul fragmentation, and dense patterns carried not just from this life—but from more than 100 past lives. The truth became unavoidable: I wasn’t broken. I had simply built an entire life from my shadows, from self-abandonment, and from trying to survive in a world that wasn’t designed for someone like me.
Integrating those lost parts of myself brought in something I had never experienced before: flow. In work. In relationships. In abundance. In joy. What I had been chasing externally was always an internal shift—the return to who I really am at the soul level. Today, I help other sensitive, high-achieving, purpose-driven people—people like you—who know they’re meant for more but feel stuck in cycles of burnout, avoidance, imposter syndrome, and the fear of fully stepping into their biggest possibility. This work isn’t about fixing you. You were never broken. It’s about coming home to yourself—finally.
