This is not a channeled post. This is a book review of Dr. Les Carter’s The Anger Trap.
I was really impressed with this book. One of the most laborious and challenging aspects of integrating soul fragments is to understand what their core issue is and the root cause of that emotional discord. It can take multiple upon multiple sessions with a soul fragment until you can figure out what the root cause of their discord is. Once you are aware of the root cause, it elicits a pretty deep and satisfying release. The root cause of a soul fragment isn’t always obvious given the discourse with them because they are often emotional and acting out from their emotional discordance. This is why I have so much appreciation for this book. If anger is your issue, Dr. Carter has identified the root cause of every aspect of it, which makes releasing soul fragments much faster and easier.
In each chapter, Dr. Carter identifies different manifestations of anger, from issues of insecurity and self-absorption to being overly controlling. I’m not a trained psychologist, so I was surprised to learn that some of the control issues that I have had issues with over the years had its root cause in anger. From this perspective, the book also makes integrating the string of pearls much easier. The string of pearls of a soul fragment are iterations of that soul fragment who share the same issue that have the same root cause, but its manifestation by way of the emotional discord experienced is a little bit different. A string of pearls can take a long time to integrate because you have to get to the core issue of each pearl before you can integrate the root cause of the string. In my experience, a string of pearls can take anywhere from several hours to several weeks or even months to integrate. With Dr. Carter’s framework and his identification of the root cause of anger and its manifestations, if anger is your issue, soul integration would be much faster and potentially, much easier.
